My imagination always ran away with me as a child. I grew up in a very woodsy, humid area of north Florida, where some creature was always making noise. I liked to draw animals from a young age, and grew to enjoy sequential art in my teens. After getting a bachelor's degree in Studio art at FSU, I took a job as a graphic designer. The satisfaction of creating a physical piece of art was missed, and after a series of major life changes, I began making art with mixed media and paint.
Materials I use include acrylic paint, matte medium, watercolors, coffee filters, and decorative papers.
